FIA Formula 3

The FIA Formula 3 Championship represents the first step for aspiring drivers to race during the same weekend as the FIA Formula One World Championship. Van Amersfoort Racing has been competing in the F3 Championship since 2022.

The F3 Championship is held during selected rounds of the Formula 1 and Formula 2 race calendars, presenting an excellent opportunity for honing skills and preparing our ambitious drivers for the progression to F2 and, ultimately, F1.

The Formula 3 field consists of 30 drivers competing for 10 teams. Similarly to F2, it is mandatory for all the teams to have the same chassis, engine, and tyre supplier. Accordingly, it is the teams' responsibility to set up the car and implement a successful race strategy, while the drivers showcase their talents.
