FIA Formula 2

The FIA Formula 2 Championship represents the final step on the journey towards the pinnacle of motorsport, the FIA Formula One World Championship. Van Amersfoort Racing has been competing in the F2 Championship since 2022.

The championship takes place on selected rounds of the F1 race calendar, presenting the perfect opportunity for our aspiring drivers to exhibit their skills in a hugely competitive and educational environment.

The Formula 2 field consists of 22 drivers competing for 11 teams. It is mandatory for all the teams to have the same chassis, engine, and tyre supplier.
