The 16-year-old Dion Gowda, born in Bangalore, India, began his motorsport journey at the age of 9, being inspired by Formula 1 icons. He quickly made a name for himself in karting, securing podium finishes in the ROK Cup Singapore and X30 South East Asia Championship. By 14, he had progressed to the World Karting Championship and FIA Karting Academy Trophy, claiming a pole position and multiple race wins.

Dion transitioned to single-seaters in 2023, debuting in the Formula 4 UAE Championship, before impressing in the 2023 British F4 Championship with four wins and six podiums. In 2024, he competed in the Italian F4 and Euro 4 Championships, achieving two podium finishes. Dion stepped up to the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine with Van Amersfoort Racing for the 2025 season.
